HAMMOND, Ind. - Davenport University women's soccer capped off their first stretch of road matches in an undefeated outcome against Purdue Northwest, 0-0. The scoreless match was the second draw for the Panthers this season, marking their season record at 4-1-2 and GLIAC record at 1-1-2. 

The match saw nothing short of effort from DU on both ends of the pitch as the team collectively put up eight shot attempts, four of them on target between Haley Diekevers (two), Haley Esser (one), and Ainsley Oliver (one). Defensively, the Panthers kept the pressure off goalkeeper Gabriana Bennecke for the most part as PNW wasn't able to get a single shot on goal in their four shot attempts overall.

DU will be back on the road in back-to-back matchups against Michigan Tech (Sept. 29) and Northern Michigan (Oct. 1).
