Preview: Panthers Host Wildcats and Huskies

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport University men's basketball team is set to resume conference action, hosting both Northern Michigan (Thursday, Jan. 4) and Michigan Tech (Saturday, Jan. 6) at the DU Student Center.

The Panthers (4-6, 0-1 GLIAC) started the new year with a 50-point victory over East-West on Tuesday (Jan. 2). Luke Bara posted a season-high 26 points to lead the way, hitting six three-pointers (tied a career-high). The sophomore guard has been lights out from deep all season, shooting 57.6 percent from behind the arc.

About the Wildcats
  • Currently No. 1 in the conference standings, sitting with a perfect 2-0 record in GLIAC play, defeating Wayne State (75-69) and Saginaw Valley State (71-56).
