DU closes season series against SVSU in a draw

UNIV. CENTER, Mich. - Davenport University women's soccer finished the October schedule with an undefeated record (4-0-3) after a 0-0 draw at Saginaw Valley State against the Cardinals. The Panthers closed the regular-season series 0-0-2 against the opponent.

Elizabeth Wolter came in clutch for DU with six saves as the Panthers were held to two shots-on-net in the match - attempted by Julia Tamasy and Danielle Dunn in the second half. Both sides had six corner kick opportunities as aggressive defense saw 13 fouls called against the Panthers and Cardinals.

With back-to-back scoreless draws in its recent contests, DU will look for its seventh victory of 2024 as the Panthers travel to Purdue Northwest on Friday, Nov. 1.
