STERLING HEIGHTS, Ill. - Davenport University men's soccer closed the 2024 regular season on Nov. 1 in the second-ever matchup against the Roosevelt Lakers, the opponent winning 1-0 over the Panthers.

DU's offensive attack showed promise throughout all 90 minutes. The Panthers recorded a .467 shot-on-goal clip, marking seven of their 15 attempts on target. However, Roosevelt saved all seven strike attempts. A foul called on DU in the closing minutes put the Lakers in a scoring position with a free-kick opportunity. Taken by Luca Swinton, the junior bent a shot into the lower-left corner to give Roosevelt the edge, 1-0.
