About the Hawks
- Finished their 2023-24 campaign with a 12-16 overall record, going 8-12 in GLVC action.
- Picked to finish 13th in the 2024-25 GLVC Preseason Poll.
- It will be a much different looking squad this season for the Hawks, as they will be led by first year head coach Kyle Blackbourn and have 10 newcomers on the squad (five freshmen and five transfers).
- The top returner for RU is Brian Hawthorne, who was named to the GLVC All-Freshman Team last season. The guard averaged 8.3 points per game, while ranking seventh in conference in steals (1.7 pg) and 12th in assists (2.7 pg).
- Rockhurst played in an exhibition against Saint Louis (NCAA Division I), falling to the Billikens 86-65. Despite the loss, RU led for about 18 minutes in the first half and took a 33-30 lead into halftime.
