GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport men's tennis team had their second match of the weekend on Sunday morning against Hillsdale College at MVP SportsPlex. The Panthers (4-1) were looking to remain undefeated early in the season, but the Chargers (1-1) stopped them with a 4-3 win in non-conference action. Hillsdale improved to 4-1 all-time against the Panthers and won their second straight matchup in the series.
The Chargers took early momentum winning the doubles point. The three doubles matchup was a 6-1 score in favor of Daniel Gilbert/Henry Hammond over
Marius Pion/
Jose Brenes for Davenport. The one doubles was a closer match but ultimately Hillsdale got a 6-4 decision as Aidan Pack/Sean Barstow defeated

Subash Paramasivam/
Jan Stolin were leading 6-5 against Tyler Conrad/Ellis Klanduch.
The singles competition was split at three points each. Paramasivam won at two singles by scores of 6-2, 6-4 over Conrad to even the match at 1-1.
