Box Score HOLLAND, Mich. - The Davenport men's tennis team got back into the win column on Friday afternoon with a 7-2 victory at Hope College. The Panthers improved to 5-1 overall this season, while the Flying Dutchmen fall to 2-2 overall.
For the Panthers, they improve to 9-3 all-time against Hope and have won nine straight matches. The scoring was NCAA Division III since Hope was the host team at the DeWitt Tennis Center. Therefore, each doubles counted as one point instead of being one point for the best two-of-three matches in NCAA Division II.
Davenport took all three doubles matchups and dropped just five games in the process. The two doubles tandem of 
Subash Paramasivam and 
Jan Stolin did not surrender a game winning 8-0 over Paul Schneider and Rylan Doden. The three doubles duo of 
Jose Brenes and 
Marius Pion won 8-1 over John Voss and Cooper Nugent. The one doubles of 
Carlos Henriquez and 
Simone Pacciolla won 8-4 against Justin Fay and Austin Becksvoort.
The top three singles spots were victorious for Davenport as Paramasivam finished first at two singles with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Schneider. Stolin at one singles had the same set scores in a win over Fay. Henriquez battled to three sets against Doden at three singles before winning 5-7, 6-4, 10-4. Pacciolla at five singles also gutted out a 6-4, 6-3 win over Becksvoort.
