Preview: Panthers Head East to Begin Road Stint

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - After five consecutive home games, the Davenport University men's basketball team is set for an end-of-season road stretch, as the team will play six of its final eight games on the road. The Panthers will head to Saginaw Valley State on Thursday (Feb. 8), followed by Wayne State on Saturday (Feb. 10).

During their five-game homestand, the Panthers went 3-2, including an 82-81 victory over SVSU on Monday (Jan. 22).

Marcedus Leech Jr. is tied for third in points per game in the conference, averaging 17.3 points. The 6-5 guard has scored at least 20 points in four of the previous five games, including tying a career-high 35 points against Kuyper and setting a school record for three-pointers in a game (nine).
