The game featured intense back-and-forth action, showcasing both teams' skill and determination. Joe Bennie stood out as the Man of the Match for the backs, contributing crucial plays that kept Davenport in contention. Saul Pitout was named Man of the Match for the forwards, excelling in scrummaging and defensive efforts. This narrow win not only highlighted Davenport's resilience, but also set the stage for an exciting season ahead as they are now 2-0 in 15s this fall. The team has a weekend off and will get back to action on Saturday, October 5 at Aquinas College at 3:30 PM from Houseman Field in downtown Grand Rapids.
