MARQUETTE, Mich. — Davenport University and Northern Michigan University ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday at NMU Soccer Field. Both teams scored in the second half, with Davenport registering 11 shots on goal compared to the Wildcats' three. Despite Davenport's offensive pressure, Northern Michigan's goalkeeper made 10 saves to preserve the tie.
Davenport and Northern Michigan ended the first half scoreless, with both teams unable to convert their opportunities. The Panthers' defense held steady despite committing nine fouls, while their offense managed six shots, two of which were saved by Northern's goalkeeper, Asaf Kristal. Northern Michigan matched the shot attempts but struggled with accuracy, as several attempts went off-target. The half closed with the score 0-0.

Maxamillian Postlewait received a red card in the 69th minute, the Panthers responded quickly to the Wildcats' opening goal in the 68th minute with
Ryan Sheffer's equalizer in the 71st. The visiting team applied pressure with eight corner kicks and multiple shots on target, but Northern's Kristal made several key saves to maintain the tie.
