EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Davenport University swimming and diving secured a decisive victory over Aquinas College in their dual meet on Saturday at East Grand Rapids High School, highlighted by standout performances from
Elise Miller with 233.80 points in women's 3-meter diving and
Parker Schut setting the school record and hitting the national cut in the 1-meter diving with 294.25 points.
Davenport University's athletes demonstrated strong performances in their recent dual meet against Aquinas. In the women's events,
Mikayla Reimink and
Alicja Pinkowicz showcased their abilities in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing with times of 58.47 and 59.12, respectively, securing the top two positions.
Abby Wampler also excelled in the 1650-yard freestyle, claiming first place with a time of 18:26.99.
Zofia Janaszek-Seydlitz delivered a standout performance in the 200-yard breaststroke, finishing in 2:23.25, and contributed to the team's victory in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:14.02.
On the men's side, Davenport's team was led by
Maciej Konarski, who captured first place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:45.37 and the 200-yard IM, clocking in at 1:57.17.
Nolan Breckon also played a pivotal role, winning the 100-yard backstroke in 52.64 and contributing to the team's top finish in the men's 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:32.98.
