OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ken Walker, Davenport

Ken Walker helped the Panthers to a 2-0 start in conference action by averaging 27.5 points against SVSU and LSSU. Walker has scored 30-plus points in three of the team's eight games this season. He shot 8-of-20 from the 3-point arc and was 19-of-39 overall from the floor. He played 44 minutes in the overtime win against Lake Superior State on Saturday and scored 30 points. Walker scored the final bucket in regulation with 19 seconds left and then drilled two triples to start overtime and give DU a lead they won't relinquish.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Imran Deen, Davenport

Imran Deen saw an increase in his minutes this week as the Panthers started 2-0 in the GLIAC. He was a game-changer around the rim averaging three blocks per game. He swatted a season-high four shots against Saginaw Valley State on Thursday. Deen had his first double-double of the season against the Cardinals with 10 points and 13 rebounds as well.
