The Davenport track and field teams competed in two different locations this weekend. The teams were at the GVSU Tune Up on Friday and a handful of athletes went to Notre Dame on Saturday for the Alex Wilson Invitational.

Jakya Mack-Smith finished fourth in th 60 meter dash with a time of 7.88. Kay-Lee McSwain placed sixth in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.57. Maria Da Cunha was one spot behind at 9.63. 

Hannah Fitzpatrick at Notre Dame finished sixth in the shot put with a throw of 38' 0.25". Jayla Procter was one spot back with a throw of 37' 3.75". Anna Nixon placed third in the weight throw at 45' 4.25" followed by Procter at 40' 3.25".

Nik Shilling placed sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 1:52.62. Chandler Griffiths took seventh in the shot put with a throw of 51' 8.5". James Horn placed eighth in the weight throw (50' 10.75") and Alexander Hernandez was one position back at 50' 0.5".
