The Great Lakes Six Hockey Conference is proud to announce the addition of ACHA Division 2. Six member schools will participate in the GL6's D2 conference, beginning in the 2026-27 season.

Adrian College (Adrian, MI), Calvin University (Grand Rapids, MI), Davenport University (Grand Rapids, MI), Purdue University Northwest (Hammond, IN), Schoolcraft College (Livonia, MI) and Trine University (Angola, IN) will join the GL6 following the completion of the 2025-26 season. Davenport previously has not been affiliated with a conference.

Conference members bring with them a staggering amount of historical success within ACHA Division 2 and 3. Member teams have been mainstays at the National Tournament and have combined for 7 National Championships.

Adrian College – 2012 (D3), 2013 (D3), 2014 (D3)

Calvin University – 2004 (D3)

Davenport University – 2008 (D2), 2009 (D2), 2010 (D2)

This conference also brings alignment and consistency for the D2 teams from four GL6 Division 1 member schools and adds two new members in Schoolcraft and Trine.
