GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Davenport University Dance Team is preparing for the 2026 NDA College Nationals, set to take place in just a few weeks in Daytona Beach, Florida. The trip will mark the program's 16th appearance at the national championship, where the Panthers will compete against teams from across the country at one of the most prestigious collegiate dance competitions in the nation. Fans can support the team at upcoming performances as they prepare to defend their Division II Jazz national title and compete in Division II Hip Hop Performance for the first time since 2019.
Alma College Showcase | Saturday, 3/28
First on the schedule is the Alma College Showcase on Saturday, March 28. Support the team at the Alma Hogan Center, located at 614 W Superior St. in Alma, Mich. 48801. The showcase will begin at 6 p.m. and will include performances of both routines, along with appearances from college teams across Michigan. It will be a great opportunity to preview the team's routines before nationals.
DU Spirit Teams Nationals Send-Off | Saturday, 4/4
As they approach the final stretch of their season, supporters are invited to the DU Spirit Teams Nationals Send-Off on Sunday, April 6, at the Davenport Student Athletic Center (6191 Kraft Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512). The event begins at 3 p.m. and admission is free. It's a great opportunity to come out and show your support and encouragement for Davenport's spirit programs.
NDA & NCA College Nationals | April 8-11
Finally, the grand culmination of the team's efforts awaits them at the NDA & NCA College Nationals from April 9-12 in Daytona, Florida. "We are proud to have the opportunity to represent Davenport University on the national stage once again," said head coach
