GLIAC – The Davenport University women's lacrosse team placed seven student-athletes on the All-GLIAC teams, the league announced on Friday (May 1). Leading the charge for the Panthers was Kacie Stolarek, being named the conference's Freshman of the Year and a First Team All-GLIAC selection.
Despite missing time this season due to injury, Stolarek leads the team in ground balls (45) caused turnovers (35) and draw controls (62). The best game of the season for Stolarek was in the season opener against Tiffin. The freshman finished with 19 draw controls, the third most in a single game in school history. She also had eight ground balls and six caused turnovers, both marking season-highs for the defender. Stolarek also added six goals on the season on seven shots.
Four Panthers earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors: Gabby Basha, Alyssa Bird, Jade Remacle and Ashley Sanders.
Basha led the conference in assists per game, averaging 2.19 per contest. Statistically, she is having the best season of her collegiate career, notching career-highs in goals (23), assists (35), points (58) and ground balls (14). The best game of her career came in the last regular season contest of 2026, finishing with nine points (four goals and five assists) to lead DU to a 17-6 win over Saginaw Valley State (April 24). It marks the third time in her career she has earned All-Conference honors.
For Bird, she has been named Honorable Mention All-GLIAC the last three seasons. As a senior, she has had her best statistical season, marking career-highs in goals (30), points (36), ground balls (36) and caused turnovers (14). She played and started in every game this season for DU.
It marks the third straight season that Remacle has been named a Second Team All-GLIAC honoree. In 2026, she recorded career-highs in goals (24), assists (nine), points (33), ground balls (42) and draw controls (51). She played and started in all 17 games for the Panthers.
Playing and starting in every game as a sophomore, Sanders was a key piece to the DU defense in 2026. She currently has the second most ground balls on the squad (44). In her sophomore season, she improved her number of draw controls (23) and caused turnovers (19). She scored the first goal of her collegiate career in a 21-7 win over Thomas More (March 6).
DU had two Honorable Mention All-GLIAC selections: Jenna Jenkins and Brianna Rodriguez. As a senior, Jenkins played and started in every game for Davenport. She accumulated 21 ground balls and nine caused turnovers, both career-highs. Rodriguez ended her season with 43 points (31 goals and 12 assists), all of which marked career-highs for the attack.
