ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. — Davenport picked up a 3-1 win over Roosevelt on Sunday to move to 2-0 in conference play. The Panthers outshot the Lakers 22-8 and put 10 shots on goal compared to three from Roosevelt.

Audrey Muterspaugh got Davenport on the board in the 27th minute, scoring off an assist from Natalie Vance. Reegan Dunn added another goal just over four minutes later, finding the back of the net off a Laney Carlson assist to give the Panthers a 2-0 lead at halftime.

Davenport controlled much of the first half, holding a 12-4 advantage in shots while earning two corner kicks. Roosevelt did not record a corner in the opening 45 minutes.

The Panthers continued to pressure the Lakers in the second half, taking 10 shots and earning all six of the team's corner kicks. Madison Fant extended the lead to 3-0 in the 51st minute with an assist from Isabella Workman. Roosevelt later got on the board with a Bella Perry penalty kick, but Davenport held on for the 3-1 victory.

Workman led Davenport with six shots, including three on goal. Muterspaugh added five shots with two on frame, while Fant recorded three shots and two shots on goal. Dunn scored on her only shot of the match.
