Prior to DU: Played during the 2016 and 2017 seasons at New Mexico State University...appeared in 11 games with seven starts during his freshman campaign...hit .143 (3-for-21) with a double and an RBI...first career hit came on March 13 at Baylor...earned a start on March 15 at Arizona and went 1-for-4 with an RBI double...saw action in 11 games with two starts as a sophomore…went 4-for-13 (.308) at the plate with five runs scored…first collegiate home run came against Mount Saint Mary’s on February 25…went 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI in a start at New Mexico (May 2).

High School: Prepped at Oñate High School (N.M.) under coach Brian Green...named the 2015 NMAA 6A South Player of the Year...named Second Team All-State...named First Team All-District...hit .480 with three home runs and 41 RBI in 2015.
