Biography

Prior to DU: Attended Lincoln Trail Community College in Robinson, Illinois...played in 38 games during the 2014 season...batted .283 with 28 hits in 99 at-bats...scored 18 runs and collected two doubles and 11 RBI...stole five bags and drew 10 walks...made nine appearances on the hill and picked up two wins...threw 19 innings and allowed just 10 hits in posting a 0.95 ERA with 15 punchouts...as a sophomore in 2015, made nine appearances and started five games...went 1-3 on the bump in 26 innings and had 17 strikeouts.

High School: Prepped at Grand Rapids Christian HS for coach Brent Gates...won two state championships in Division 2 during the 2012 and 2013 season...finished as state runner-up in Division 2 in 2011...named All-Conference.

Personal: Son of Jeff and Kristin VanDeVusse...majoring in business.
