Dylan Roberts

Dylan Roberts enters his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Panthers. He will work with the pitchers and also serve his second season as JV head coach. Roberts is a recent graduate in the summer of 2022 with a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Davenport. He is also a graduate of Northwood University, where he graduated in 2018 with a degree in Sports Management.

Roberts joined the coaching staff after playing at Northwood University and Kalamazoo Valley Community College. In 2019 Roberts also served as a Pitching Coach for the Timberwolves were, they finished 33-21 and made a Midwest Regional appearance.

In 2021, Roberts served as the Manager of the I-94’s of the Michigan Collegiate Baseball League. The team would win the regular season and the playoffs, finishing with a record of 23-8. Roberts was also voted Manager of the Year in league.

In 2019, Roberts served as an Assistant Coach for the Kalamazoo Growlers in the Northwoods League. During his time, he worked with the pitchers, hitters and served as the third base coach as well. The team would finish 37-35 and make the organizations first ever playoff appearance.

In 2016 and 2017, Roberts served as the Manager for Aristeo Construction in the Lansing Area Baseball League. Over the team’s first two seasons in the league the team would finish a combined 37-9 and win the playoff championships both years. In 2015 Roberts worked at the Legacy Center, where he served as a coach, trainer and camp coordinator for youth athletes.

As a player, Roberts was a part of Northwood’s first ever GLIAC championships in 2017 and 2018. The team would make two Midwest Regional appearances and finish with a record of 84-39. Over the two years, Roberts spent time as a reliver and a starter on the mound at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. The team would finish 48-36 over the two seasons. Roberts is a 2013 graduate of Howell High School, where the team made two appearances in the MHSAA Division 1 Final Four.
