Prior to DU: Attended Macomb Community College for two years...as a freshman, played in 50 games and batted .304 with 41 hits in 135 at-bats...scored 37 runs and drove in 24 more...recorded 14 stolen bases in 20 attempts...drew 33 walks and had five sac bunts...had a 1.000 fielding percentage with 57 putouts...as a sophomore, played in 47 games and batted .378 with 54 hits in 143 at-bats...collected 11 doubles, three home runs and 39 RBI...scored 49 runs and stole 11 bases in 16 tries...posted a .523 on-base percentage and .517 slugging percentage...had just one error in 72 chances (.986).

High School: Prepped at Warren De La Salle under coach Cliff Howe...won the 2016 Division I State Championship...named All-Conference and All-Area as a junior and senior...also lettered in wrestling and football.
