Prior to DU: Played at Ivy Tech Community College as a pitcher and third baseman...posted a .263 batting average with 36 hits in 137 at-bats...scored 27 runs and collected 11 doubles and two home runs as a freshman...made 13 appearances on the mound to the tune of a 5.19 ERA in 17.1 innings...converted four saves and struck out 18...as a sophomore, appeared in four games on the hill and went 2-0 in 15 innings...tossed a pair of complete games and a shutout with 14 strikeouts.

High School: Prepped at Churubusco (Ind.) under coach Jason Pierce and Mark Grove...set the school record with 12 saves in his career...named a three-time NECC performer...as a senior, named KPC Northeast Indiana top player...won sectional championship and was regional runner-up as a junior...won NECC regular season title as a junior and senior.

Personal: Majoring in sport management...born November 10...son of Jermiah Johnson, Ashley Johnson and Jared Neal...favorite movie is Happy Gilmore.
