Prior to DU: Enrolled at Grand Rapids Community College (Mich.) where he played for three seasons...named a two-time JUCO All-America selection...finished his GRCC career with a 17-4 record in 31 appearances...posted a 1.68 ERA in 145 innings with five shutouts...allowed 111 hits with 22 walks and 151 strikeouts...during the 2023 season, he posted an 8-2 record with a 1.44 ERA in 62.2 innings...allowed 45 hits with six walks and 71 strikeouts...opponents hit just .194 against him...had a career-high 12 strikeouts in seven innings with no walks against Delta College on Mar. 24...also fanned 10 in eight innings at Bay College on Apr. 27...also pitches for Kalamazoo in the Northwoods League during the summer...carried a 3.21 ERA in 56 innings in 2023 with a 4-1 record and 38 strikeouts.

High School: Prepped at Grand Rapids South Christian under head coach Jake Bajema...hurled a high of 13 strikeouts in a game...named First Team All-Conference in baseball...went 8-1 on the mound during his time as a Sailor.
