2023: Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team...finished the season with a .272 batting average going 34-for-125 at the plate...played in 40 games and made 31 starts...scored 18 runs to go with eight doubles, and nine RBI...drew five walks and hit by pitch three times...went 5-for-5 in stolen bases and had a .988 fielding percentage with 150 putouts and 15 assists...batted .360 (9-25) when leading off an inning...finished with seven multiple-hit games and three multiple-RBI games...had a season-high three hits against Embry-Riddle on Mar. 1 and Ashland on Mar. 3.

2022: Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team...batted .273 with 21 hits in 77 at-bats...played in 35 games and made 15 starts...scored 18 runs and smacked six doubles and one triple...registered 10 RBI and a .352 on-base percentage.

2021: Played in 22 games and went 1-for-7 at the plate...scored seven runs and also drew a walk and was hit by a pitch...had one stolen base and recorded 13 putouts at catcher.

High School: Prepped at Grand Ledge under head coach Pat O'Keefe...finished his varsity career with 122 hits...won districts as a freshman, sophomore and junior...won regionals as a sophomore...named All-Conference three times and All-District as a sophomore and junior...named First Team All-State as a junior.

Personal: Majoring in business...son of Kurt and Carrie Hylek...born on April 16...favorite movie is Interstellar.
