High School: Prepped at Rockford under head coach Matt Vriesenga...belted five home runs during travel ball...batted .475 with a .587 on-base percentage and 1.485 OPS...drove in 26 runs and also had six doubles and two triples...batted .443 for the Rams with a .761 slugging percentage...hit three home runs and drove in 25 runs...named all-conference, all-region, and second team all-state...won the OK-Red championship.
