2017 (Jr.): Appeared in five games out of the bullpen...posted a 3.86 ERA in 4.2 innings...allowed six hits and two earned runs...struck out five and walked one...righties hit just .214 against him...fanned three in one inning against Marygrove (Apr. 15).

Prior to DU: Attended Grand Rapids Community College...as a sophomore in 2016, appeared in six games and made five starts...posted a 1-3 record in 19 innings and struck out 18...as a freshman in 2015, appeared in four games for a total of 5.1 innings...walked three and fanned two.

High School: Prepped at Forest Hills Northern HS under coach Dane Wysocki...named All-Conference, All-District and All-Area on the mound...lettered in baseball and basketball.

Personal: Son of Scott and Michelle Russo...majoring in biological lab science.
