Assistant coach Mike McClary is in his second season with the Panthers in 2023-24
McClary joined head coach Burt Paddock's staff prior to the 2022-23 season after previous coaching stops at Olivet College as an assistant coach and junior varsity head coach (three seasons), Marshall Academy as the head coach (three seasons) and Mona Shores as the freshmen head coach (one season).
McClary, Olivet's all-time leader in points (1,834), blocks (160), field goal attempts (1,513), and field goals made (786), was named to the Olivet College Hall of Fame in 2021. The Bellaire, Mich. native also ranks second all time in rebounds for the Comets with 1,036. McClary averaged 12.1 points as a freshman, 12.8 as a sophomore, 19.8 as a junior, and 26.0 as a senior. McClary and his wife, Denisha, have a son named Brady and reside in Lowell.
