Brock Hertrampf

Davenport University Athletics announced the appointment of Hertrampf as the Panthers’ Director of Sports Performance in September of 2023. Hertrampf previously served as an assistant strength coach for Davenport University, starting in the summer of 2021. During his time there, he worked with various sports teams, including Football, Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse, Tennis, Swim & Dive, and Men’s Wrestling.

Prior to his tenure at Davenport University, Hertrampf spent two years as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. In that role, he worked with Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, and Track & Field. He also completed a capstone internship with the University of Wisconsin - Madison Badger football team as part of his efforts to earn his Masters degree in Exercise and Sports Science - Human Performance.

In 2019, Hertrampf was hired as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During his time there, he served as the lead coach for Men’s and Women’s Fencing.

Since completing his undergraduate degree in exercise and sports science, Hertrampf has gained further experience in the field of strength and conditioning. He volunteered as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the University of Wisconsin - Madison and Wake Forest University. At Madison, he worked with Men’s and Women's Basketball and Hockey, while at Wake Forest, he focused on the University's football program.

Hertrampf's own athletic background includes playing as a defensive tackle for the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse for four years, three of which he started for the Eagles. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, and he has also earned his Reflexive Performance Reset Level 1 Certificate.
