Erin was promoted to head coach of the Davenport University Pompon program in July of 2019. She became only the second coach in the program's history. Engeseth was an assistant coach for the pompon team for four years prior to being promoted to head coach.
Engeseth, a former studio instructor, brings knowledge in dance and technical training. She possess over 17 years of dance training in Jazz, Ballet and Tap, along with a background in sideline cheer. She has performed with the Young American's in 2004 and was a member of Resurrection life Church's dance squad for two years. She is a former member of the 2001-2005 Wayland High School dance team and has competed in multiple regional and state competitions throughout her dance career.
Engeseth graduated from Davenport in 2013 with an associate's degree in applied science with a focus on medical assisting and phlebotomy. She plans to return to DU for a bachelor's degree in sports marketing.
