Saenz was hired in August 2025 as an assistant coach for the women's volleyball program. He was the head coach of the men's volleyball program at Siena Heights University from July 2023 until May 2025. In addition, he was a full-time assistant coach at Adrian College from September 2021 until July 2023.
He also is a VLA Club Manager at Midwest Mak Volleyball holding that position since May 2022. Saenz was a three-year player for SHU in 2016-18. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in fine arts, with a concentration in digital media. He competed in volleyball and cross country while a student-athlete at SHU. While running, he was a mid-distance competitior focusing on the 600, 800, 1,000 and mile.Â
