Fort Wayne, Ind. - In a rare middle of the week non-conference game, the women's soccer team overcame the awful weather to post a 6-0 shutout of Taylor Fort Wayne. The win is the 3rd of the season for DU as they improve to 3-7-1.

In a game that was played in a downpour in Fort Wayne, the Panthers used a 2-0 lead at halftime and increased it to six to post their first shutout of the season. DU played the game without their two starting keepers as Daniella Bugli and Elizabeth Missman filled the duties of shuting down the opposing team's offense.

Defense was of little concern for Davenport as they posted their highest goal total of the year and were led by Amy Wright's two goals. Also scoring for Davenport were Rachel Buckner, Britteny Willis, Carissa Quador and Daniella Bugli.

The win lifts DU to 3-7-1 on the year as they will travel to Madonna University on Saturday for a matchup with the top team in the conference. Last time the two team met, Madonna dealt the Panthers a 6-2 loss at home.
