CALEDONIA, Mich. — Junior defender
Jada Spillers, a Portage, Michigan native, has earned All-GLIAC Honorable Mention recognition. In her third season wearing the Panther red, white, and black, Spillers recorded a career-high 1,722 minutes on the field — the most of any Davenport player this season. She was one of just four Panthers to start and play in all 19 matches, anchoring the defensive unit with consistency and leadership.
A cornerstone of Davenport's back line, Spillers demonstrated exceptional composure, tactical awareness, and reliability throughout the year. Her ability to read attacking patterns, organize the defensive shape, and execute timely challenges made her an invaluable presence in the Panthers' defensive structure.
Spillers becomes the eighth Panther to receive Honorable Mention honors since Davenport joined the GLIAC in 2017. The veteran defender will look to continue building upon her impact as she enters her senior season in 2026.
