Davenport Places Four on CSC Academic All-District Team

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Four members of the Davenport University women's soccer team have been named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Team.

To be eligible, student-athletes must be sophomores or above, hold at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and either appear in 90 percent of the team's games or start a minimum of 66 percent of them.

Madison Fant, Autumn Wakefield, Ella Chatfield and Alexis Martinez earned the recognition for the Panthers, marking the first Academic All-District selection for each of them in the red, white and black. The honor also gives Martinez a final Davenport accolade to close out her collegiate career.

Fant is majoring in sport management, Wakefield in marketing, Chatfield in finance and Martinez in biological laboratory science.

Fant and Chatfield finished the 2025 campaign with identical stat lines of two goals, two assists, six points and 17 shots. Wakefield registered eight shots on the year, while Martinez closed the season with two assists, two points and seven shots.

Together, the four Panthers recorded four goals, six assists, 14 points and 49 shots this season.
