ROMULUS, Mich. - The Panthers D2 Hockey team continued its dominance over teams from the state of Michigan as they cruised to a 13-2 win over Eastern Michigan tonight. The win is the fourth in two years over EMU by a combined score of 29-6.

After falling to ACHA D1 Indiana last Saturday, the Panthers came out hot on Friday night and led 4-0 after the first period.

DU continued to pour it on in the second with six more goals as they went into the third leading 10-1.

Marc Thompson (Traverse City, Mich.) and Brit Ouellette (Windsor, Ontario) each recorded a hat-trick as Bobby Collar (Brighton, Mich.) posted two goals on the night.

DU is now 7-3 on the year and will host EMU on Saturday at Patterson Ice Center beginning at 7:00 PM.
