ELGIN, Ill. - The host Judson Eagles downed the shorthanded Panthers today 4-0 in a non-conference tilt. The loss drops DU to 5-5-1 on the year as they will resume WHAC play on Saturday, October 17 against Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, IN.

Davenport, who was coming off a tough 0-0 tie to Cornerstone on Monday, traveled to Elgin, IL to battle the Judson and the host Eagles proved stronger as they sent the Panthers home with a 4-0 setback.

Judson got three goals in the opening half and culminated it with a penalty kick in the 86th minute for the final outcome.

Erin Vermeersch (Macomb, Mich.) provided the lone two shots on goal for Davenport as Karitas Elvarsdottir (Akranes, Iceland) narrowly missed high on one of her four shots.

DU will take on Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne next Saturday, October 17 as they will look to stay in the top four of the WHAC standings.
