WHEATON, Ill. - In their fourth straight appearance at the Wheaton Invite, the Lady Panthers opened with a 16-9 setback to University of Chicago. Michon Moline and Alex Kuzma each finished with three goals as Davenport falls to 1-8 on the year with two more games set for Saturday.

Alex Kuzma (Hudsonville, Mich.) had the hot hand early as the junior posted two goals in the first half but it was not enough to help DU break their four game losing streak.  Michon Moline (Rockford, Mich.) continued her outstanding play as of late with three more goals to add to her team lead.

Also scoring for Davenport were Jessica Talcott (Ada, Mich.) with a pair of goals and Brittanie Bond (Rockford, Mich.) with one.

DU will take on Saginaw Valley and host Wheaton on Saturday.
