CHICAGO, Ill. - The Lady Panthers Lax team wrapped up its 2011 season with a pair of losses down in Chicago at the Robert Morris weekend invite.  DU fell 21-4 to Savannah College of Art and Design on Saturday before dropping a 15-4 decision to the host school on Sunday.

Thr fourth season for the Lady Panthers lacrosse team has come to a screeching halt today as they finished with two games in the Chicago area at Robert Morris University.  DU fell by 17 to SCAD before losing by 11 to RMU.

In Saturday's setback, Michon Moline (Rockford, Mich.) and Jessica Talcott (Ada, Mich.) each tallied two goals as the Bees dominated almost every statistical category.  SCAD led 16-2 at halftime and then outscored DU by three in the second half.

Sunday's game was much closer but the offense was still off their mark and the defense allowed 43 shots as DU netminder Jenn Mercante (Carthage, Wis.) came up with 23 saves in the game but it was not enough as DU fell 15-4.

Talcott and Moline again were the only two scorers for Davenport as Jessica had 3 and Michon 1.

DU ends their season with a 1-13 overall mark with the lone win coming against Wayne State.  

Leading the offense with 49 points (41 goals, 8 assists) was sophomore Michon Moline.  Junior Jessica Talcott was second on the team in scoring with 27 points (26 goals, 1 assist).
