GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Lady Panthers faced a tough challenge on the road against an undefeated Aquinas team as Davenport fell 21-6 to AQ on Wednesday. With the loss, DU falls to 1-11 on the season. The Lady Panthers travel to Chicago this weekend for two contests against Savannah College of Art and Design and Robert Morris University, respectively.  

Michon Moline (Rockford, Mich.) led the DU attack with three goals and an assist, which gives her 35 goals on the season. Alex Kuzma (Hudsonville, Mich.) added two goals, and Jessica Talcott (Ada, Mich.) tallied one goal.

Aquinas started the game strong, scoring the first eight goals to put the Lady Panthers in a 8-0 hole midway through the first half.

However, DU reeled off two straight goals of their own as Kuzma scored both goals for the Lady Panthers.

In the second halftime, Moline notched her first goal of the game for an 11-3 score. After an AQ goal, Talcott made the score 12-4 with 23:45 remaining on her only goal of the game.

The Saints reeled off seven straight goals to put the game out of reach at 18-4. Moline added two more goals for the Panthers to finish DU's scoring.

The Lady Panthers will travel to Chicago this weekend to play Savannah College of Art and Design on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. DU closes out their weekend with a matchup with Robert Morris on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
