Women's Golf Team Adds Muskegon's Brennan Hallberg

Signee is third for head coach Melanie Loughin

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Head women's golf coach Melanie Loughin had added her third signee for 2012-12 as she recently was able to bring in Muskegon Reeths Puffer's Brennan Hallberg.  Davenport will start their spring season on March 30 in Indiana.

Brennan Hallberg becomes the third signee for head coach Melanie Loughin as she joins Maggie Plummer and Kimberly Morris for the 2012-13 school year.  Hallberg comes to Davenport from Muskegon, Mich. where she attended Reeths Puffer HS.

While at Reeths Puffer, Hallberg was named All-Conference (Black) three times and helped the team reach the state finals in her sophomore year.  She served as the team capatin from her sophomore year to her senior year.

"I'm excited to have Brennan become part of our golf program at DU, said Loughin! She has a great amount of enthusiasm and a drive to succeed. I'm looking forward to working with her and watching her grow as a player!"

Brennan is the daughter of Kim and Brett Hallberh and is undecided on a major.
