Post Game Quotes
Sweeney on what changed to get momentum back on Davenport side after being down 2-1 in the second period – “The guys just finally woke up and realized we weren't playing with any kind of drive or spirit. They finally started taking pride in their own game so we really started to get things going. Our captains stepped up and did a really good job on the bench and on the ice leading by example.”
Sweeney on Quigley-Ogden-Bohlinger line – “They started off real slow but to their credit they have rebounded really well. Mason has done a good job as a captain all year and really got that line motivated and going. Quigs and Ogden are young but they are experienced. It's such a good line and they have really turned their game up quite a bit.”
Quigley on the game today and his hat trick – “We started a little slow but my line mates picked me up. We were passing well and had a good fore check going and started getting open for each other. It feels really good to get the hat trick, it's my first one in this league. So it just feels good to help the team anyway I can.”
Bohlinger on his game and his go ahead goal – “On my goal Walsh made a great pass it was up the middle and kind of between two guys so I didn't have to do much. And I just caught the puck and went in a little forehand-backhand bar down but it was a great pass by Walsh. We started a little slow today but my line mates picked it up for me and Quigs had a hat trick, it's pretty easy to play with someone that can bury three goals in a game. We played really well in the second and third and hopefully we can keep it going into next week.”
