Post-Game Quotes – Head Coach Phil Sweeney
Talk about the second period (7 DU goals and 9 total) – “
Phil Wendecker had a good talk with the boys and they focused in at the task at hand. The guys did a great job in responding and played more physical. We dominated them in all three zones, especially down low in the offensive zone and we responded with seven goals.”
Talk about the physical game tonight and the quick turnaround with Adrian on Tuesday – “We don't expect our guys to be overly physical with big hits but we expect our guys to be tough to play against and that's what we were in the second and third periods tonight. We took away their time and space and we were dominant just like I expected us to be.”
