The Opponent: Indiana University Southeast entered the tournament riding a 10-game winning streak and extended that streak to 11 after defeating Saint Mary (Kan.) 77-67 on Thursday night.  They earned their place in the tournament after winning the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and went through the regular conference season with a record of 12-1.

Under KIAC Coach of the Year Wiley Brown, the Grenadiers are ranked highly in a number of statistical categories.  They are third in the NAIA in scoring offense averaging 87.87 points per game and have won their games this season by an average of 17.47 points per game.

They shoot very well from the field making 50% of their shots, which is third in the NAIA.
A variety of players bare the offensive load for this young squad.  Douglas Bell is one of two seniors and averages 9.2 points per game.  He contributed 13 to the win on Thursday night.

This is the Grenadiers ninth appearance in the national tournament.  Last year they lost to Iowa Wesleyan in the first round.  Their overall tournament record is 4-8 and their best finish is reaching the quarterfinals in the 2009-2010 season.

The teams have no common opponents this season and haven't faced each other since the 2005-06 season when IUSE defeated the Panthers 62-50.

The Series: IUSE Leads 3-0
