GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Coming off having shut out its third opponent in the four games played in program history, the Davenport women's rugby team will put itself to the test in the school's rivalry with Grand Valley State as the Lakers visit DU Turf Field Saturday in a brunch start at 11 a.m. Fans can catch the game on the Davenport Athletics Network with Gene Halbert on the call.

The Panthers, who have not suffered a loss, have outscored all four opponents 237-5. Only Ferris State has been able to break through the Panther defense and record a try. Leading the front of the Panthers has been Danielle Ordway, who has racked up 62 points using eight tries and 10 conversions. Gabby Florez is not that far behind Ordway in points with 50. The sophomore is leading the Panthers with 10 tries.
 
Scouting Grand Valley State
Like Davenport, Grand Valley State comes into Saturday's contest with a perfect record, having won all three games this season. The Lakers, which had the weekend off last week, are coming off a 46-25 win over Ferris State on Sept. 28. During the three contests, the Lakers have outscored their opponents 99-36.
