GEORGETOWN, Ky. – Head volleyball coach Megan Lenhart hit a big milestone on Friday as she led her team to a split on the opening day of the Bone Yard Brawl hosted by Georgetown College (Ky.). The 3-0 win over Point Park (Pa.) gave Lenhart her 100th career win in less than four complete years leading the DU program. The No. 23 Panthers ended the evening with a 3-0 setback to No. 9 Lindsey Wilson to finish 1-1 on the day and they have two more matches scheduled for Saturday against Viterbo (Wis.) and Bellevue (Neb.).

Match 1 – #23 Davenport 3, Point Park 0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-14)
Davenport got off to a fast start against the Pioneers and never looked back in what would become a milestone win for head coach Megan Lenhart. DU picked up a 25-21 opening set win and followed it with 25-18, and 25-14 victories to close out their 25th win of the season and 100th in the three-plus years of coaching for Lenhart. After Friday's matches, Lenhart now has an overall record of 100-46.

A balanced offense led the way for DU as five different players posted at least seven kills led by nine from senior Nicole Chase. Junior Amber Getty finished with 36 assists while Lexie Spetoskey and Sidney Rodriguez anchored the defense with 19 digs each.

Match 2 - #9 Lindsey Wilson 3, #23 Davenport 0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-18)
The Blue Raiders have now played 30 matches this season after a pair of them Friday at Georgetown and the No. 9 ranked team in the country has won 29 of them. LWC picked up a close win in the opening set and then cruised to the three-set win over the Panthers to continue their outstanding season.

The Davenport offense, which was solid in the opener against Point Park, fluttered against the Blue Raiders, hitting just .198 on the match and finishing with only 38 kills in the three sets. Hannah Stone was tops in kills with nine while Amber Getty dished out 31 assists and Rodriguez 17 digs. DU managed just 1.0 total team blocks which is their lowest all season.

Davenport will return to the court on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. where they will face Viterbo (Wis.) and then end the tournament at 1:30 against No. 13 Bellevue (Neb.).
