GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Freshman
Nikki Herrmann netted a season-most five goals and nine other Davenport women's lacrosse student-athletes added one on the evening as the Panthers snapped out of a two-game losing skid and rout by Siena Heights 14-5 in a Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference contest Wednesday at DU Turf Field. The Panthers improve to 7-4 overall, 2-1 in league play.
In addition to tallying a goal,

Although Herrmann broke the scoreless game with a goal at 27:25, the Saints (1-10, 0-4 WHAC) almost immediately counterattacked and took a 2-1 lead in the span of 1:20. The Panthers would even the score when
Taylor Balch scored at 20:29.
Bridget Zuidgeest would knock in Davenport's third goal at 13:33 but the Saints would tie the game again about two minutes later.
Davenport got into a scoring rhythm when it would tally five goals to head into intermission with an 8-3 lead.
Tara Pluger would break the 3-3 tie and Herrmann added back-to-back goals that proved to be the difference in the game.
Schae Hoebeke and
Britteny Willis also scored under the five minute mark for the Panthers.
Kuzava,
Kaitlyn Lowden,
Emily DeVries and
Alison Bouman would each score in the latter half while Herrmann added two of her five-goal day.
