Scouting Adrian

After starting the season out winning their first 14 games the Bulldogs have lost two of their last three games as they enter the weekend with a 15-1-1-0 record. Michigan-Dearborn handed Adrian their first loss of the season in overtime and last weekend Oakland gave them their first regulation loss of the year. Brad Kobryn leads the team in goals with 24 and points with 37. Leading the team in assists are Chris Derochie and Justin Fisher both 16 each.

Scouting Kent State

The Golden Flashes come into the weekend with an 8-7-0-0 record on the year. Last weekend the Kent State split a weekend series at home against Western Michigan. Leading the way for the team this season has been Jonathon Buttitta with 19 points and 14 assists. The leading goal scorer for the Golden Flashes is Chance Taylor with seven on the year. In net, four different players have appeared in at least two games for the Golden Flashes.

The Panthers

Last weekend, Davenport swept a home-and-home series with Rochester College. Kody Polin and Jordan Simmonds have led the way for the Panthers in their recent games as Simmonds has tallied six points in the last four games and Polin has ten points in the last four games. Simmonds leads the team with 13 points and Polin is right behind him with 12 on the year. Clayton Brown played both games last weekend moving his record to 3-1-0 on the year and has a 2.25 goals against average to go along with a .909 save percentage.

GLCHL Outlook

Despite losing two of their last three games the Bulldogs still lead the GLCHL and Western Michigan is just behind the Bulldogs with a 10-4-1-2 overall record on the year. Through 17 games for Michigan-Dearborn and Oakland they are neck in neck with Oakland just one point behind, but Kent State is also in that pack as they are tied with Oakland at 16 point through just 15 games. Davenport has 12 points on the year through ten games and Eastern Michigan rounds out the conference with eight points through 15 games on the season.

ACHA Rankings

The top ten teams all stayed in the top ten with just a few teams flipping spots. Niagara made one of the biggest jumps last week moving from 25 to 18 in the rankings. Davenport dropped two spots to 19th just before their weekend series against Rochester College. Colorado and Colorado State both jumped into the rankings last week both with seven wins on the year.
