South Euclid, Ohio. – The Davenport women's rugby team saw their perfect season come to an end Saturday morning as they fell to No.1 Notre Dame College by a score of 26-3. Ashlee Byrge was responsible for the only points Davenport was able to put on the scoreboard, with a penalty kick that came in the first half.
 
The loss snaps a nine-game winning streak for the Panthers, and puts an end to a very impressive second fall campaign for the program.
 
Notre Dame College advances to the semi-final round tomorrow afternoon and will take on Ithaca. The winner travels to Palm Coast, FL. to compete in the Final Four on December 6-7.
