GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After playing the first three games on the road, Davenport women's lacrosse team opens its home slate with three games this week. Although they will not be opening the DU Turf Field Thursday, the Panthers will 'host' women's lacrosse newbie Lawrence Tech at Ultimate Soccer Arena in Pontiac, Mich., Thursday at noon. DU, which ranked fourth in the National Women's Lacrosse League's Top 10, is officially slated to open the Turf Field against Robert Morris (Ill.) Saturday at noon followed by Oklahoma Baptist Monday at 2 p.m.

A Quick Look at Lawrence Tech – 1-2, 0-1 WHAC – Head Coach Mia Jafari
The Blue Devils are in their first season as a program and are under the leadership of Mia Jafari. After falling to defending WHAC champion Indiana Tech 21-6 in the school's inaugural game last Friday, Lawrence Tech bounced back and picked up the first win 48 hours later by defeating Illinois Tech 16-2. It is a busy week for the Blue Devils as they are playing three games in three days. They started out with a 13-9 setback to Robert Morris (Ill.) Tuesday night and will host Aquinas Wednesday at 1 p.m. before taking on Davenport Thursday at noon.
A Quick Look at Robert Morris – 2-1 – Head Coach Jake Truty
The Eagles, who are nationally ranked at three in the NWLL, are coming off a 13-9 win over Lawrence Tech Tuesday night to improve to 2-1 on the year. Meghan Brady and Mary Prunte led the effort for RMU with a hat trick each. Morgan Hoek and Terra Ringo also had multi-goal performances on the pitch while on the other side of the field the goalkeeping duties were shared between Quintina Mengyan and Emily Bernard. Mengyan made six saves and allowed two goals for the win after playing the first 37:45 before turning it over to Bernard.
A Quick Look at Oklahoma Baptist – 0-3 – Head Coach Katy Mohr
The Bison are still in search for their first win of the season after three attempts. Most recently, second year head coach Katy Mohr and her squad suffered a 16-2 beating to Missouri Baptist on March 1. Emily Joslin scored the only two goals for the Bison while using three goalies. Sabrina Attaway was credited the loss after allowing 11 goals but made seven saves.
