GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Coming off home-and-away victories over Siena Heights in the last three days to improve to 10-0 on the year, the second-ranked Davenport women's lacrosse team returns home to play the final two games of the regular season at DU Turf Field starting with Lourdes Thursday at 7 p.m. It will the second ever meeting between the two Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference schools and can be seen live on the Davenport Athletics Network with
Gene Halbert calling the action.

Dominating the WHAC Stats
Davenport has proven to members of the WHAC it is the most dangerous team in the conference offensively. On the attack, Davenport leads the WHAC in points (257), goals (184), assists (73). Despite the having offense on their mind, the Panthers are doing very well on the other side of the field as they have the best goals-against average (7.56) in the league.
A Quick Look at Lourdes
The Gray Wolves are currently on a four-game losing skid. They picked up their first win against Franciscan University 12-9 back on March 16. Lourdes is also in search for a conference win after five attempts. Most recently, the Gray Wolves dropped a 18-9 decision to fellow women's lacrosse newcomer Lawrence Tech Tuesday. Faith Fisher had the team's only hat trick on the day while Allison Mazey and Jessie Frost had two. Fisher has found the back of the net 21 times this season to lead the ballclub. Amanda Kaczmarek has been getting a lot of minutes in between the pipes, clocking in 570 minutes of work. She owns an 18.21 GAA.
The Last Time vs. Lourdes
Emily DeVries scored five goals,
Brooke Knoll and
Hanna Bush each added four, and Davenport opened WHAC play with a 24-5 runaway win over Lourdes during the late-night shift at Detroit Country Day March 8. Knoll also added four assists to her eight-point day while
Taylor Balch scored one goal and notched six assists. Rounding out the Panthers with multiple goals were
Jessica Lemcke with three and
Bridget Zuidgeest,
Sara Kuzava and
Kaitlyn Lowden each with two.
Samantha Powers had somewhat of a quiet day between the posts as the made one save but conceded three goals.
Lena Henderson took over and allowed two goals in her season-debut.
