Tournament Bracket GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After winning its first ever Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament championships last week, the Davenport women's lacrosse team now turns focus on the National Women's Lacrosse League Tournament this week. The Panthers, who carry a program-best 15-2 record, head to the campus of Lindenwood University – Belleville in Illinois as the No. 2 seed and will open the tournament against No. 7 Missouri Baptist Thursday at 8:30 p.m. EDT.

DU Women's Basketball We're Going Back to NationalsAs part of being awarded the top seed in the WHAC Tournament, Davenport received the conference's automatic bid to the National Women's Lacrosse League Tournament, marking the first time since 2012 the Panthers will be heading into the national spotlight. Check back later on DUPanthers.com for more details about the NWLL Tournament. Davenport is 1-2 in the national tournament.
Davenport Enters NWLL Tourney No. 2After being ranked No. 2 in the NWLL for a majority of the regular season, the Panthers will enter the national tournament as the second seed. Davenport took the No. 7 seed in its last appearance in the NWLL Tournament back into 2012.
More About the NWLL TournamentDefending national champion Savannah College of Art and Design receives the top seed for the second consecutive year. The Queen Bees will put their perfect 13-0 record on the line against eighth-seed Tennessee Wesleyan. WHAC foes Aquinas and Indiana Tech also earned a spot in the NWLL Tournament. The Saints earned the sixth seed and will take on the Eagles with the winner facing either the Panthers or Spartans Friday at 8:30 p.m. EDT. The Warriors, meanwhile, will take the fifth seed and face No. 4 Reinhardt.
They Meet Again at NWLL TournamentDavenport and Missouri Baptist have met before in the NWLL Tournament, with the Panthers taking a 9-6 victory over the Spartans to finish seventh in the championship. Among returners,

Mackenzie VanDerWarf and
Alison Bouman each found the back of the net once.
